No matter what the weather maybe, skin problems never comes to a standstill. In fact, the expert, Shovan starts off by saying that the most troublesome skin conditions that Bangladeshis suffer from are acne and sun tanning. Here’s a surefire way of combatting the sorrows of the skin, without having to work up a sweat!
Their approach “At our studio we diagnose the skin type first and then find out the reason behind every condition. The solutions Saha provides are holistic and deals with both the internal and external reasons behind any type of skin or hair conditions.
Hair care Shovan adds that dandruff, greasy hair and receding hairline are few among the many problems that he has to deal with. Natural remedies would include frequent shampooing and maintaining the ritual of shampooing, conditioning and applying serum to the ends of the hair every day. “Some ask me whether it’s necessary to shampoo everyday; I advise all my clients to do so because dandruff is mostly caused by pollution and there’s no better way to remove harmful substances from the tresses other than shampooing,” states Shovan. As for thinning hair, he mentions that it occurs due to changes in hormone and stress.
Body and mind “At our studio, we provide stress management sessions with Aromatherapy and Healing oils that work as magic,” explains Shovan. Most studio salons provide body cleansing and body massage facilities, we asked the expert about the differences between the two. “Body cleansing removes dead cells; it only affects the external organ, which is the skin. While body massage affects both the external and internal organs, it helps in blood circulation, toxin removal and muscle relaxation,” emphasised Shovan.
The right diet The cosmetologist suggested a diet for those who are prone to pimples.“Avoid oily and fried foods as much as possible, drink lots of water and try having green tea often.”
Home remedies “The heat and humidity during summer is unbearable and if it’s not treated properly, it will get worse for those who are prone to acne. Sun tanning is also a natural consequence due to the increased level of sun rays that we are exposed to.” He suggested washing the face regularly with cold water, applying multani mitti facepack and suitable sunscreen on a regular basis. He also stressed on washing the face with a suitable cleanser, using a toner and end the ritual by applying a suitable moisturiser. “This skin routine will definitely bid adieu to a large number of generic skin problems,” claims Shovan.
