Apple to release $259 iPads to rival the Google Chromebook

Apple has always had a huge influence in classrooms but in recent years, their share in classroom has been declining. The biggest reason for this is the fact that both Google and Microsoft has been dominating classrooms since 2013 with Google’s Chromebook which offers everything the iPad does but for much less.

But Apple being Apple has decided to rectify this issue and claim back classrooms and schools as they have announced a cheaper version of their iPads. They are set to hold an event which will solely focus on education and they have promised new ideas for both teachers and students. According to various speculations, Apple is set to launch budget iPads which will start from $259 only. Furthermore these “cheaper” iPads will be packed with new education software and also perhaps a cheaper Apple Pencil. This could also eventually pave way for Apple to release cheaper Macbooks.
