Home Academy BD launched its app at a flagship event titled ELITE
Home Academy BD, a locally nurtured skill-sharing platform, launched its application at a never-before-seen masquerade ball titled ‘ELITE’ which took place on October 10th in the heart of the city at Intercontinental Hotel Dhaka. The event drew teenagers from all over Bangladesh, featuring a variety of programs, including a charity fundraiser for underprivileged people by an organization called Progoti.
The lively evening was sponsored by WALTON, the most renowned electronics manufacturing brand in Bangladesh. The app, which was a gift from Bangladesh’s State Minister for ICT Division, Zunaid Ahmed Palak MP, will make Home Academy more accessible to people across the country. Most importantly, the event will commemorate Home Academy’s journey in empowering the youth of the country. Participants started pouring in from 4 p.m., and the event took off with the national anthem, followed by the presentation of Home Academy from 5 p.m. onwards. The event was divided into several segments for the evening. After the application launch, Mr. Palak shared a few words with the youth, acting as a huge inspiration for the youth present at the event. Afterwards, Home Academy directed the focus towards the fundraising supported by Progoti to aid the underprivileged in the coming winter. Besides that, several other casual competitions, including Presentation and Best Dress, captivated the audience. The participants also got an opportunity to network. Lastly, the event was concluded with a prize-giving ceremony and a gala celebration for enthusiastic participants, making it unforgettable.
Dr Khondokar Azizul Islam, Additional Secretary, was present as the chief guest of the event. MD Abdur Rakib, Joint Secretary, Project Director, IDEA Project, was the special guest. Md Anowarul Islam, Deputy Secretary, Project Director, Mobile Game and Application, was a special guest. The event’s chief patron was Liakat Ali, Deputy Director and Head of IT Department of Walton Hi-Tech Industries Limited. Subsequently, Md Nazrul Islam, Managing Director of Standard Technologies Ltd., was the guest speaker. The event’s primary purpose was to attract the youths of our country to participate in a skill-sharing and productive event more compellingly.
