Priyanka Chopra has proved herself as a prolific actress in the film industry. With the hit series Quantico under her belt, as well as blockbuster film Baywatch, the Bollywood starlet has decided to tackle an ABC series based on the life of Bollywood’s most admired diva Madhuri Dixit.
Priyanka Chopra got her big Bollywood break back in 2003 in the Bollywood film The Hero: Love Story of a Spy, where she was seen alongside actors Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta. While on the other side, the ever green and poised Madhuri Dixit has left a generation of people trying to practise and perfect her eye-brow wiggle. The stunning actress landed her shot at the silver screen with her debut film Abodh in 1984, where she played a young bride.
Both the actresses have started from the bottom and gracefully worked their way to stardom, proving their versatility and dedication in every step of the way.
The show’s plot will revolve around a former Bollywood star who has settled in the suburbs of America with her multicultural family. Writer Sri Rao, who worked on General Hospital: Night Shift will be involved with the production. As a cherry on top, Madhuri’s husband will be one of the Executive Producers alongside Priyanka Chopra and the diva herself. ABC intends on co-producing the show with MGC.
