Legacy Redefined

What is Jubilation?

Jubilation is an expression of happiness and joy; it is one of the pleasures of a leisurely life. Jubilation is an art form – a true marvel to be appreciated by the experienced sartorial eye. For the people who appreciate the attention to detail, an extra something in their pieces, Jubilation is the perfect solution for their tailoring needs.

Jubilation’s logo, featuring a cat and peacock feathers, encapsulates the brand’s ethos of effortless elegance, whether you’re navigating a busy work day or just gazing at the sky. A nod to the 1960s Peacock Revolution, the peacock feathers symbolise the brand’s playful approach to colour and pattern. Jubilation believes that fashion should be an avenue for self-expression, and their suits reflect that conviction.

A Legacy Carried Forward

Despite being born under the wings of the legendary tailoring house, Ferdous, Jubilation is an independent atelier for classic bespoke tailoring of the highest order, with no affiliation with the aforementioned brand. In 2022, Jubilation began its journey with a deep commitment to the timeless art of handcrafted suits. Rooted in their father’s legacy, Nafi and Zubaida Khan established Jubilation as a beacon of precision and quality tailoring. Zubaida’s multifaceted contributions ensure the smooth operations of the brand, while Nafi’s attention to minute details and his extensive sartorial knowledge pave the way towards creating an extraordinary experience for their clients.

Prince of Wales Tweed

A medium weight brown Prince of Wales check tweed jacket, paired with a heavy 13oz denim to heavily lean towards the fall-winter seasons, and a classic OCBD shirt to offset some of the insulation that the tweed and the denim provides.

A pair of cap toe Derby boots would tie the outfit together perfectly, but being in Dhaka, that will be a bit of an overkill. Instead it has been paired with a Crockett and Jones Cavendish tassel loafer, with grained calf leather to enhance the casual tweed classic.

Twist on the Classic Gunclub Check

Gunclub checks can be regarded as Scottish a country side staple, traditionally hard wearing tweeds, with variations of mostly greens and browns. The textile designer behind this fabric has a wonderful sense and the understanding of colours. This Gunclub check takes its pattern inspiration from the Scottish highlands for sure, but the interesting part is that the colour palette is also a nod to boardwalks leading to the beach, taking from the greens of the shrubbery, browns of the boardwalks, and of course the beige of the soft sand.

This jacket is softly constructed to give the wearer a more intimate feel of the cloth, and of course, enhanced by Jubilation’s incredible make. The French linen Gunclub check sport coat is paired with a powder blue and white stripe Italian linen bespoke shirt, setting up the right view at the end of the boardwalk, completed with neutral hand made cream Italian cotton trousers. A pair of unstructured dark brown Alden LHS (Leisure Handsewn) finishes off the look.

Nautical Inspired Windowpane Sport Coat

Imagine gazing out upon the Bay of Naples with a negroni in hand, enjoying a leisurely lunch in the sun-kissed South of Italy. Evoking the allure of a seaside rendezvous, the playful blue hues of this nautical-inspired sport coat is crafted from mid weight French linen, which fits the moment perfectly. The half-lined and softly canvassed beige windowpane check pattern invokes stones and sand, giving the jacket a knitwear-esque feel and adding an air of understatement.

Paired with a cotton/linen blend beige stripe shirt to further complement and add to the dry ingredients of the bay (pardon the joke), a pair of white Italian cotton trousers, no belt loops or adjusters, to retain a streamlined aesthetic, and Jubilation’s core philosophy – if it’s cut right, you don’t need belts or adjusters to keep your clothes in place. A pair of unstructured dark brown Alden LHS (Leisure Handsewn) finishes off the look. Tailored for relaxation.
