An Iconic Legacy

Six decades of the iconic TAG Heuer Carrera

Named after the notoriously dangerous Carrera Panamericana race, the TAG Heuer Carrera was created in 1963 by TAG Heuer’s legendary former CEO Jack Heuer. Made for race car drivers, the watch was made with readability and simplicity in mind, which are both vital when navigating high-speed bends. Elegant and uncluttered, sporty and daring, there is only one word to describe the TAG Heuer Carrera – ‘iconic’. This mid-century design remains timeless, six decades later.

The word ‘Carrera’ does not just have one single meaning; it can be translated to mean ‘race’, ‘career’, or simply just ‘path’; the perfect name for the perfect watch for those who are daring, independent spirits. To commemorate 60 years of this iconic watch, the brand has launched The Chase for Carrera, a Hollywood action comedy starring brand ambassador Ryan Gosling and Vanessa Bayer, and produced by David Leitch. The short film is a no-holds-barred chase thriller, a salute to the Carerra’s racing heritage.

You can get your very own TAG Heuer Carerra at the luxury watch boutique, Mohammad & Sons. As the sole authorised dealer for the brand in Bangladesh, you can rest easy knowing that you will get after-sales service according to brand guidelines and international standards.
