Daraz Bangladesh, the country’s largest online marketplace and a concern of Alibaba Group, celebrated the record-breaking success of Eleven Eleven, the world’s largest sale campaign. The campaign’s closing ceremony, “Embrace the Success,” officially marks the end of this year’s Eleven Eleven Journey. During the campaign, Daraz customers had the opportunity to win prizes through a variety of games and contests. 11.11 prize giving ceremony was organized with the contest winners of different segments.
Winners of 1 Taka Game, Shake Shake, RJ Contest, Make a Wish, Guess and Get It Free, Facebook Live and Spin the Wheel were present at the day-long award ceremony held on November 24 at Bangabandhu International Convention Center (BICC).
The first part of the program started at 3 pm and ended at 5 pm with about 63 winners. The second part of the program started at 7 pm with the co-sponsors, event partners, brand partners and media partners of the Eleven Eleven Campaign.
One of the biggest attractions of the Eleven Eleven Campaign was 1 Taka game. The first winner of the 1 Taka game is Noakhali’s Zahidul Islam, who received Toyota Aqua Hybrid car by Maven Autos. Second winner AKS Bappi received (Keeway RK V-Red) 150cc motorbike and third winner Nazmul Islam got (Keeway RKV-White) 150cc motorbike. The rest of the winners were also given TVs, smartphones, tour packages, laptops, washing machines, etc.
Daraz ranked as the number one app in the Play Store due to it being the most popular e-commerce platform among the customers during the eleven eleven campaign. This year’s campaign was held amidst a global pandemic and Daraz’s achievements were admirable even in the most difficult moments of the national economy.
Also, another popular campaign of Daraz is Fatafati Friday which is starting from 27th November and will continue till 30th November. This sales event has numerous products on huge discounts, various types of vouchers, flash sales and many other interesting offers.
