Ayub Bachchu, well known musician, singer, composer, founder of the musical band LRB (Love Runs Blind) passed away at the age of 56 due to a cardiac failure a couple of hours ago. He was in an unconscious state at his home in Maghbazaar and taken to square hospital where the doctors immediately pronounced that he was dead.
Ayub Bachchu was born on 16th August, 1962 in Chittagong. He went to Government Muslim High school in Chittagong and started his music career with the band, Feelings, in 1978. He joined Souls as the lead guitarist and played for them from 1980 to 1990 and a year later, he formed his own band, LRB (Love Runs Blind). They released their first album as a double album with well known songs such as “Ghum Vanga”, “Shesh Chithi keno Amon Chithi hoy”, “Madhobi”, “Hoker”, “Happy”, respectively.
LRB released their second album “Shukh” in 1993, which contained one of the greatest hits in Bangladeshi music Era “Cholo Bodle Jai”. Here are 5 of the greatest songs of Ayub Bachchu.
