Liverpool will fight Roma in a bid to secure their first ever Champions League final since 2007 where they lost to AC Milan. The Red part of Merseyside have been amazing this season with their main man Mohamed Salah banging in goals left, right and center. Having knocked out the newly crowned English champion Manchester City in the quarter finals over two legs of pure dominance, confidence will be at an all time high for Jurgen Klopp’s men.
However they face a Roma side (arguably the most surprising semi-finalist) who knocked out Barcelona in a comeback straight from a movie-script. The Romans knocked out one of the favourites of the competition after overcoming a three goal deficit showing to the world that they are no pushovers. Goals from Edin Dzeko and also Daniele De Rossi and Manolas (both of whom had scored own goals on the first leg, quiet the redemption) completing and inspiring comeback.
