Mhabuba espouses the importance of remaining relevant saying, “We shape our work according to our target group’s demand. Using CCP (communication channel process) we figure out the day to day routine of our TG. This enables us to understand the points through which we can access them to communicate with them.”

Women with professional gumption is not new at Meghna Group of Industries, Mhabuba says, “The management positions in our company are occupied by females. My work hours are from 9:30am to 6:30pm and being a mother, it’s inspiring to see women actively occupying these positions in our company.” She eludes to Director Tahmina Mostafa leading the FMCH sector. Tanzima Mostafa is another director spearheading the cement sector, which is largely a male dominated sector. Mhabuba says, “It is a challenging sector and it is admirable to watch Tanzima Mostafa lead it the way she does.”

She exudes determination as she explains, “I harboured no regret for the five-year break I took for my daughter. The balancing is important. Since I knew I was coming back to work, adapting to it took me hardly 15 days. It made me realise how much I missed my work,” she concludes contentedly.
