Shehzar Doja launched his book ‘Drift’, a collection of poetry

UPL and Monsoon Letters jointly launched a literary book ‘Drift’ on December 10, which is a debut collection of the upcoming author, Shehzar Doja. The book presents a collection of poetry originally written by Shehzar Doja was positively received at the Dhaka Lit Fest this November. Sudeep Sen, Editor of Drift was the special guest for the event who unveiled the book and presented it to Shehzar Doja. Shehzar also recited poems from his book and concluded the event with a book signing. Rubana Huq, Founder of Monsoon Letters and Kazi Anis Ahmed, Publisher, Dhaka Tribune and well-known educationist Syed Manzurul Huq also attended the event. Shehzar Doja currently resides in Luxembourg as a poet, student and the Editor-in-Chief of the literary journal, The Luxembourg Review. He is also the first Bangladeshi to be a featured poet in Spokenword Paris ‘Open Secrets’ with a reading in the heart of the famed Latin Quarters. His work has appeared in numerous publications worldwide including The San Antonio Review, Fireside International publication, New Welsh Review, Monsoon Letters and he has won several literary and theatrical competitions.
