You have experienced a remarkable entrepreneurial journey – could you share some turning points that paved the path to your success?
There are constant ups and downs in every business. The turning points come about when we identify the issues and rise above them. For me, it was about having the courage to constantly take risks, learning from failures, and adapting constantly. Another pivotal moment was building a strong team and network of supporters who believed in my vision. Finally, embracing innovation and staying open to new opportunities was crucial in navigating the journey to success.
As a mother, what values and principles do you wish to pass on to your children? In your opinion, how has the role of motherhood changed in our generation compared to the one before?
As a mother, my aim is to instill values such as kindness, resilience, empathy, and the importance of continuous learning in my children. I want them to understand the value of hard work, integrity, and compassion towards others. The role of motherhood has evolved significantly in our generation due to changing societal norms, technology, and economic shifts. Compared to previous generations, there’s now more emphasis on balancing career aspirations with family life, fostering a more equal partnership between parents, and promoting individuality and self-expression in children. Additionally, with access to vast amounts of information and resources, mothers today have more opportunities to educate themselves and make informed decisions about parenting and family life.

As a completely self-made entrepreneur who has reached the pinnacle of success in her field, which segments do you think aspiring entrepreneurs should focus on in the current market?
In the current beauty industry, aspiring entrepreneurs should focus on several key segments to remain competitive and innovative. To differentiate a salon, they should prioritise offering personalised services tailored to individual preferences and needs. In response to growing demand, they should incorporate wellness-focused services and sustainable practices, such as using eco-friendly products, offering holistic treatments, and promoting overall well-being alongside traditional salon services. They should stay ahead by embracing technology to streamline operations, enhance the customer experience, and anticipate trends. It is also essential that they invest in ongoing education and training for staff to stay updated on the latest techniques, trends, and products.
