It’s that time of the year again! Eid festivities bring compassion, happiness and prosperity into our lives every year. Perhaps, the feeling of dressing up in new clothes and accessories is one of the greatest joys of the occasion. However, Eid shopping can often be tricky; a lot of us find it challenging to find the right aesthetic for the season at a bargain from regular shopping malls. As a result, fashion exhibitions consisting of niche brands are becoming increasingly popular in Dhaka, and the city has just witnessed one of the country’s biggest so far.
AMONG OTHER BRANDS WAS ESSENTIALS BY MATIA, A CANADA LAB-APPROVED SKINCARE BRAND THAT LAUNCHED ITS PRODUCTS FOR THE FIRST TIME IN BANGLADESH AND IS HOPING TO EXPAND ITS REACH IN THE FUTURE.
UC Events presents Eid & Lifestyle Fest 2022, held on June 24th & 25th at La Vita Hall, Lakeshore Hotel, Gulshan 2, with 50 brands under one roof. Among the participating brands were Coral Haze Bangladesh, Bishuddhota, Pearl House Dhaka and a few more that have physical shops. At the same time, the rest of the participants were primarily women entrepreneurs who participated in exhibitions to showcase their designs like Mahaofficial, Azeen by Zoya, NS Attires, Mahnoori’s, Muskaan and more. Among other brands was Essentials by Matia, a Canada lab-approved skincare brand that launched its products for the first time in Bangladesh and is hoping to expand its reach in the future.
UC Events is an event management firm that currently facilitates some of the best fashion exhibitions and events around Dhaka. It is the brainchild of Unique Collection, an online store that promises the best shopping solutions. Run by Taman Nur Ahmed and her mother Kamrun Nahar Ahmed, this was their 40th event since they started in 2014, and this time as well, the response was tremendous, with a footfall of over 1000 guests per day at the event.
