If you think the comic-book fever taking the world by storm is in any way dwindling, here to douse such doubts, Marvel and The Weekend have teamed up to unleash the comic book fandom and collectively the world, a marvelous collaborative project, titled Starboy.
Yes, you are reading it right. The Party Monster singer has previously mentioned adopting his Starboy character into a comic during his first on-camera interview appearance on Beats 1 with Zane Lowe.
For those following the singer on Instagram you could not have missed the subtle hints he’s been dropping like breadcrumbs. The trail ended in Comic-Con New York with the unveiling of the project prior to which The Weekend had posted a preview image of the first cover on Twitter.
The ‘I Feel It Coming’ crooner was quoted saying, “I guess this is the fourth chapter. He’s a character that we created… he’s a cool, dope character that makes appearances a lot on the album… he’s a more braggadocios character that we all have inside of us.”
The upcoming comic book is set to be released upon the masses on 2018. Sharing the same name as the singer’s reigning hit album of 2016, the comic book Starboy is one to put on your bucket list for things to get your hands on in 2018.
