If there’s anyone who made the late 70s entertaining with his groovy dance moves and dramatic action scenes it’s Mithun Chakraborty. Even in his 60s, this living legend has aged like fine wine; it goes without saying that Mithun Da is indeed a giant force of awesomeness to be reckoned with. Here are three reasons why we love his films
Packs a punch
Only Mithun can take a scene like this in stride and play it out like a boss, no matter how farfetched it seems or sounds. Can’t blame him for lashing out; no one discards a good piece of chicken like that. NO ONE.
Comically yours
When he’s not throwing a hook or a jab, he’s getting speared in the hip by Madhuri, that too on a speeding bicycle. Here’s his character butt-hurting like there’s no tomorrow.
Tear jerker
Leave it to Mithun Da to give you the best of both worlds; once in a while he’ll play roles that’ll hit you right in the feels. Needless to say, the dynamics of Nanaji and Guru Bhai did whack this writer in the ovaries.
