The Flow Fest, (formerly Dhaka Flow) the signature event of the wellness movement by the same name, is scheduled to be held at Shahabuddin Park, Gulshan from November 6–8, inviting the city to unite for three days of movement, mindfulness, and creative expression.
Based on the four cornerstone concepts of movement, meditation, creativity and community, this year’s festival unfolds across five immersive zones: The Fitness Pavilion powered by Turaag Active, The Meditation Garden powered by Satori, The Art + Soul Zone, The Playground, and The Amphitheatre.
Festival highlights include daily yoga and breathwork, sound healing, youth art labs, nature and clean-air workshops, book launches, fashion moments, CrossFit and martial arts, evening concerts, and a 5 km run. There will also be panels on women’s leadership, mental health, nutrition, and community dialogues like Share Your Healing Story.
‘Our mission is to create a wellness sanctuary. When creativity meets compassion, wellbeing becomes contagious’ ~ Shazia Omar, Founder & CEO, Flow Fest
Past editions of the festival illustrate what’s possible. At the Dhaka Flow Festival 2024, held at Gulshan Society Lake Park, attendees joined ju-jitsu self-defence workshops, 5 km community runs, sound healing sessions, art & soul corners, and eco-friendly stalls.
At a press briefing hosted at Tokyo Express on October 15, the organizers elaborated on their holistic commitment to healthy and sustainable living, which means restricting the use of PVC plastic, and providing only vegetarian dining options.
Designed for students, families, and professionals, the festival offers practical tools for resilience and connection – helping people bring balance back to classrooms, homes, and workplaces.
