City Bank Ltd triumphs at the Flyers Corporate Cup 2024, Vol. 4.

The Athlete’s Hub was abuzz with excitement as corporate teams competed in the eagerly awaited Flyers Corporate Cup 2024, Vol 4, on November 1 and 2. 

The two-day event showcased exceptional sportsmanship and determination, culminating in City Bank Ltd claiming the championship title. 

In a thrilling final match, City Bank Ltd faced Asutex Ltd, with the former securing a hard-fought victory. Imran Sr’s game-winning goal not only clinched the title but also earned him the Man of the Match award for the final. The tournament’s Most Valuable Player was awarded to City Bank Ltd’s  Imran Jr for his outstanding performance throughout the event, which included 8 goals, 1 assist, and 5 clean sheets. 

Several other contests took place during the event, with Mentors’ claiming victory over Development Design Consultants (DDC) in the Plate competition. Therap BD and Tex International Limited battled it out in the Bowl category, with Therap BD emerging as the champions. 

Individual awards were also presented, with Ripon from DDC receiving the Top Scorer title for his impressive nine goals. City Bank’s Rabbi earned the Best Goalkeeper award for maintaining 5 clean sheets, and Imran Jr from City Bank Ltd. was recognised as the Best Defender for his commanding presence on the field.
