Miss International, a titan among global beauty pageants and a member of the ‘Big Four,’ has been a beacon of beauty, goodwill, and cultural exchange since 1960. Marking a significant milestone, Azra Mahmood Talent Camp (AMTC) has secured the licensing rights for Miss International Bangladesh 2024, as announced at a recent press conference. This achievement propels the camp onto the global stage, reinforcing its status as a trailblazer in the modelling and fashion industry.
Shokubutsu, a Japanese beauty and personal care brand, is the official sponsor of Miss International Bangladesh 2024. This year, in collaboration with Shokubutsu, Miss International Bangladesh is taking sustainability in beauty to the next level. Shokubutsu embodies natural beauty and embraces the timeless wisdom of Japanese secrets for achieving beautiful skin. Each of their soaps, formulated with botanical cleansing ingredients, cleanses without harming the skin, leaving it soft, hydrated, and smooth while maintaining its natural moisture balance.
Nuzhat Tabassum Afa, an accomplished model and rising star in pageantry, will represent Bangladesh at Miss International 2024. She was among the top ten finalists in the Mister and Miss Celebrity International competition last year.
Her participation in Miss International 2024 marks an important step in Bangladesh’s representation on the global stage, continuing the country’s tradition of showcasing capable and talented individuals in international beauty competitions. “My journey to this point would not have been possible without the guidance of Azra apu. I humbly ask for your vote, support, and prayers,” said Afa.
Miss International 2024 will take place on November 12 in Japan at Tokyo Dome City Hall, bringing together delegates from over 70 countries to celebrate beauty, culture, and global goodwill. This year’s theme, ‘Sustainability in Pageantry,’ aims to inspire Japan’s national organisations to be independent, self-sufficient, and confident.
Present at the conference alongside Afa were Azra Mahmood, media personality and Founder and Managing Director of AMTC, Sadia Mahjabin, Brand Manager of Shokubutsu, and Saifur Rahman, Journalist and Consultant for Haal Fashion, Prothom Alo.
“We are incredibly honoured to host such a prestigious pageant. This opportunity aligns perfectly with our mission to empower young women, helping them achieve their dreams in the fashion world and beyond. We are thrilled to showcase the outstanding talent emerging from our camp and contribute to the legacy of this esteemed competition,” said Mahmood, expressing her enthusiasm.
Masaki Mitsui, Managing Director of Lion Kollol Limited, shared, “Shokubutsu is a Japanese brand dedicated to natural beauty. We are thrilled to sponsor Afa at Miss International 2024, as she will showcase her beauty and confidence on the main stage.”
Stephen Diaz, Executive Director of the Miss International Organisation, also shared his excitement: “It is fantastic to have Bangladesh represented in our event for two consecutive years. Beyond their beauty, the people of Bangladesh are known for their hard work, intelligence, and remarkable skills. Collaborating with AMTC is a great honour, and we look forward to seeing their growth in the future.”
As Miss International 2024 prepares to bring together extraordinary women from around the globe, the competition stands out as a landmark event that embodies sustainability, unity, and female empowerment.
