Talent Chef: not just another cafe

Talent Chef is a cafe that combines business with welfare. The organisation, which is a venture of KK Foundation, started with the motto to empower people who have been excluded from work opportunities for various reasons such as learning disabilities, homelessness, substance abuse, and social exclusion for various reasons. The purpose of this organisation is to develop entrepreneurs, create job opportunities through diverse economic activities and enhance the capacity development of the interested disadvantaged community to turn them into efficient human resources. They are provided bakery training under the supervision of a professional chef. The products are marketed through offline and online channels.

Each and every purchase from Talent Chef can be considered charity as 100% of the profits go towards the country’s underprivileged. As such, Talent Chef provided a number of the country’s top companies with Ramadan and Eid corporate gift packs based on their budget and preferences. The available gift packs, ‘Box of Joy’, ‘Sharing Happiness’ and ‘Box of Happiness’, and different companies ordered them as part of their CSR activities. The companies are UCB Investment Limited, X Index Companies,  EduRev Limited., Carebro Limited, Premier School Dhaka, and X-Ceramics Group, among others.
