The Mughal Dynasty was famous for its Power, Epic Architecture & quest for great food connoisseurs. Mughlai cuisine is all about the judicious addition of spices, and gentle cooking and the addition of nuts goes towards creating the most delicious kebabs, curries, and biryanis. The Mughlai Cuisine is derived from the rich, aromatic, and delectable food prepared in the royal kitchens of rulers during the Mughal period- takes one back to another era when preparing food was a treasured art and each meal with the fit for a king! This cuisine’s specialty is its Meaty goodness, royal aroma, and subtle amount of spices. The food is often milk or cream based. Mughal delicacies include biriyanis, pasandas, kormas, pulao, kababs, tikkas, and hot and spicy shorba (soup). Pedas and delicious desserts.

As the story goes behind Mughlai cuisine, the Mughal rulers were the great builders, in the same keenness the Mughals were also known as great food connoisseurs. Almost every Mughal ruler has passed on his personal formula as he moved along the passage of time, which is known as Mughlai food. This is why, possibly, the influence of the Mughals is mostly experienced in their foodstuff. Several royal non-vegetarian dishes have come from the kitchen of the Mughals. Apart from initiating the tandoor (earthen oven), used to make Rotis and kababs – which are pieces of meat marinated in spices and skewered over a coal tandoor. Some of the well-known Mughlai dishes include tandoori chicken, seekh and boti kabab, and even tandoori fish. Keeping the regal history in mind to revive the royalty of Mughlai cuisine the menu of Dawat E Mughal has been skillfully crafted with 100+ Sahi Mughal items. The items are well segregated in different counters. Apart from the food counters, there will be a Live station of Mughlai items & Unlimited Ice Cream corner as well. This 10-day long food festival is bringing a cyclic menu so that the guests can enjoy different varieties of the epic Mughal food heritage. To revive the Mughal culture the festival offers Sherbets such as Gulab Lassi, Khus Sharbat, Sweet Lassi, Rooh Afza, Badami Lassi, Etc. In the appetizer section, there will be Dahi Vada, Papdi Chaat, Chicken Shorba, Curried Carrot Shorba Etc. Great Spread of Salads Along with Dressings & Condiments.
As the Mughals had a liking towards the flesh there will be a lot of meat options too such as Noorani Murgh, Hariyali Machhli Chaman, Murgh Musallam, Tandoori Machhli, Chicken Jali, Mutton Shami, Chicken Afghani, Beef Bihari, Beef Chap Tandoori Vegetable, Mutton Shikhampuri, Chicken Tandoori, Beef Galouti Kebab Etc.
