Splendor by Aneeka Bushra
Aneeka Bushra’s story of being a little girl doing her own makeup in her bedroom to becoming one of the most renowned make-up artists in Bangladesh is nothing less than a fairytale! It has been her passion, and she kept getting better and better with practice. Her goal was to develop her skills and understand what was lacking in the market, for instance, Aneeka was one of the first MUAs who boldly worked with darker skin tones, creating a new benchmark for the segment in the industry over the years.
Aneeka started her operations in Dhanmondi which did exceedingly well but it didn’t have a big enough space to cater to the growing demand. Consequently, despite the pandemic, she made a strategic decision to immediately expand. They needed a space that was at least double the size of the one they had, conveniently located. It was a bit of a struggle with their busy workload, but that is exactly what they got!
There have been quite a lot of positive responses to the new salon. According to Aneeka, “All the clients come and say this is exactly how Splendor is supposed to be; glam and perfect!”
