Although the idea of beauty varies across societies, there is something wonderfully universal about leaving a salon with a bit more confidence than when you entered. Over the last decade, Bangladesh’s beauty service sector has blossomed into a Tk 100 crore plus industry that is redefining the idea of self-care. The industry has continued to expand thanks to some pioneers like Persona. At the start of the new decade, Persona is evolving to set the beauty industry’s benchmark of quality and aesthetics.
Persona has proudly been one of Bangladesh’s pioneers of beauty-related services since its inception in 1998, and has come a long way over these past 25 years. Recently, the beauty salon recently relocated its Banani Road 11 branch to Khawaja Palace, House 76/B, in the same road. It sits on the 2nd floor of the building above Domino’s Pizza and Monno Ceramics showroom, and is one building over from the previous location. The opening of Persona was inaugurated by Kaniz Almas Khan, the company’s Managing Director.

Persona has designed the interior with the aim to provide an inviting and comfortable environment for women, and it functions to best support the diverse range of services it offers, including hairdressing, fashion haircolour, makeover, hair treatments, pedicure, manicure and wellness treatments.
“We are constantly trying to repackage our services to best satisfy our customers. Their satisfaction brings us joy and is the drive that pushes us to do better. Besides attending to makeover needs, the idea of a beauty parlour is to help relieve stress and have a relaxing experience. We believe that the outdoorsy environment as well as care for our clients from the staff is integral in delivering that experience. Our goal is to streamline our services to achieve that feat,” exclaims Kaniz Almas Khan, founder of Persona.
For 25 long years, Persona has been servicing a lineage of beauty conscious clients with precision and perfection. At present, there are 14 operational outlets across the country. The Dhaka outlets are located in Dhanmondi, Mirpur, Uttara, Gulshan-1, Gulshan-2, Banani, Wari and Kakrail.
Over the years, it has also expanded to provide high-end grooming services to men and has 6 outlets for that segment. Subsequently, it employs more than 2000 people across Bangladesh. The new outlet is a continuation of the incredible work Persona has been doing in boosting Bangladesh’s beauty service industry. This new outlet is set to become the country’s benchmark of premium beauty services.
