MADE IN BANGLADESH

RISE celebrated the 3rd anniversary of its Jamuna Future Park outlet with an energetic and vibrant fashion show, ‘All Masked Up’ showcasing their winter collection.

Over time, Bangladesh’s fashion industry has seen continued growth and evolution since its inception 4 decades ago. New entrants in the fashion industry are introducing new styles and designs, broadening the fashion horizon. Among them, one of the most notable brands that continue to climb the ladder of success is RISE.

The streetwear focused clothing retailer has dropped its freshest winter collection yet, and have showcased it in their recent fashion show, ‘All Masked Up’ at Jamuna Future Park on Friday, December 10th, 2021. The event’s theme, styling and organisation were done by RISE themselves. The fashion choreography was done by Azra Mahmood.

‘All Masked Up’ was held to celebrate the retailer’s 3-year anniversary of its Jamuna Future Park outlet. The show focused on RISE’s collections of ethnic wear, casual wear, denim wear and streetwear. The denim wear segment featured clothes with the writing ‘Made in Bangladesh’ highlighted uniquely. The streetwear segment stole the show with break dancers and rappers performing live in front of the audience. The vibrant and energetic event has played an important role in reigniting the fashion scene in Bangladesh which took a dive after the pandemic.

RISE opened its first retail store in 2017. Since then, the brand has been developing and marketing world-class and fashionable apparel from Bangladesh. Its dedication and devotion to promoting streetwear brings promises of diversifying the country’s fashion catalogue.

According to Faheem Mosharraf, CEO of RISE, a person’s fashion choice tells a story about their personality. “Through what we wear, we aim to make each and every one of our stories heard,” he commented. Praising Bangladesh’s growth in the fashion industry, he said, “Bangladesh is on its way to become a global fashion hotspot. We will be there to ensure Bangladesh is put on the map; not RISE alone, but all of us together. Together we will Rise!”
