The Grand WEDDING EXPO 2021 has been a phenomenal success.
VIOLET Inc. has done it again! The Grand Wedding Expo 2021, held at the Mezbaan Ballroom in Radisson Blu Chattogram Bay View on 11th, 12th and 13th November, has been a phenomenal success. The event’s primary objective was connecting soon-to-be-wed couples with wedding planners and a host of other vendors who can help plan the wedding of their dreams. Amazingly, The Grand Wedding Expo 2021 went beyond its purpose and set the tone for the season across the country.
Inaugurated by the Mayor of Chattogram city, Rezaul Karim Chowdhury, and the CEO of Sena Hotels Development, Brigadier General (retd) Abul Hashem, the event became a viral hit across social media platforms. The elaborate décor, models dressed in opulent clothes, jewellery, stalls by fashion designers, stylists, caterers, make-up artists, florists, and invitation and accessory vendors had guests mesmerised throughout the three-day event.

The fifth edition of the expo was executed by VIOLET Inc. in collaboration with some of the biggest brands in the country, including Radisson Blu Chattogram Bay View, M&M Business Communications, Casablanca, RTV, Veneto and Furniture. bd. It only goes to show that the pandemic has not had an impact on the way Bangladeshis perceive weddings. Weddings will continue to be extravagant public spectacles that require time and resources to manage.
Consequently, the popularity of such exhibitions is growing as it allows the to-be-weds to have the privilege of choice and a chance to compile an estimate. With improving footfalls, the conversation rate is increasing every year.
Since 2016, ICE Today has been an integral partner of the event, and it bears witness to its growth from obscurity to one of the most significant events of Bangladesh’s wedding season. The Grand Wedding Expo will continue to be a prominent event for Bangladesh’s wedding industry for years to come.
