‘The Summer of Love’ – ICE Today’s first ever virtual runway!
For almost two decades, ICE Today has proudly been a collaborative platform for the fashion industry in Bangladesh. Currently, the fashion industry is at crossroads as a raging pandemic has altered the very fabric of the society we all share. However, as we begin to recuperate and embark on revival, it is imperative to adapt to the new normal. As mass digital adaptation has catalysed the demand for fashion content in the digital space. As such, ICE Today has initiated its maiden virtual fashion show which premiered on its Facebook page on the 21st of June this year.
A wedding runway, ‘The Summer of Love’ hosted some of the premier fashion brands in the country to showcase their latest summer wedding collection. Participated by brands like Chantilly by Selina Nusrat, Jarwa House and O2, the entire show was filmed at InterContinental Dhaka, the hospitality partner. AURA Beauty Lounge was the makeover partner that did the hair and makeup of close to twenty top models of the country who took the stage including, Asif Azim, Nibir Adnan Nahid, Tangia Zaman Methila and Jessia Islam. Decorated by event partner Aesthetic Events, the photography partner for the show was Studio Lorenzo.
