From reserving the right venue to making sure every overhead light and microphone work, facilitating food that tantalises everyone’s taste buds and effectively handling any mishap that may arise; event management requires utmost professionalism and nerves of steel. These are the mantra of the people behind Glamshow, an event management firm that has experienced astounding success within the short span of its existence.

It has been credited with executing glamorous events, personalised with great attention to detail. Perhaps, the greatest strength of Glamshow is its versatility, organising a range of events including weddings, birthdays, exhibitions and fashion shows.

The last fashion show organised by Glamshow was specially catered for young aspiring designers to showcase their talent on the ramp. Interestingly, their events have always been able to attract celebrities and corporate clients making them ideal for talent acquisition and networking. The founder of Glamshow is a twenty-three-year-old aspiring entrepreneur, Raisa Naser Khan who overcame innumerable challenges to reach the position she is at. However, she has no intention of stopping here and wants to grow collectively focusing on the youth.

In an effort to expand its operations, Glamshow has introduced an innovative e-commerce platform (website) for aspiring brands looking to boost their sales. The website offers a range of products from lifestyle, fashion, food to electronics. It was launched through a spectacular event on 12 February at The Westin Dhaka Ballroom followed by dinner. There were 150 guests from various sectors including designers, entrepreneurs, corporates, celebrities, politicians and media. Glamshow’s latest initiative is focused on the Sustainable Development Goals which promotes sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all.

The new platform will facilitate sales and market visibility to the community as well as international brands. Customers can make purchases from social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram. Glamshow will also be shipping to the United States Of America. The platform will be visible globally in the forth-coming days.
