Colours of the Day: Rong Khela
Rong Khela is literally playing with colours. The bride and the groom side battled it out to see who had the most “Rong” on them. Being a perfectionist, Maysun planned out the entire day with one thing in her mind which was having a blast. The day began with the couple’s close friends and family embarking on a cruise at the Shitalakshya River. Wasting no time, the hundred and fifty guests began the war of colours among themselves with a DJ playing music in the background. After the fun ritual, the rest of the day was spent with dance rehearsals performed by the friends of the couple. The cruise ended with the guests enjoying a BBQ party while sky lanterns and fireworks lit up the evening sky.

Mastering the art: Mehendi Night
On the Mehendi night, she wore the brightest smile. As the wedding day was approaching fast, the Mehendi night was an event the entire family was eagerly waiting for. Unity Gulshan, the hospitality partner of Lakeshore hotels organized a beautiful ambience for the bride. Wearing her favourite jewellers, Hazoorilal, she looked like the happiest bride on this planet. Reminiscence Photography and Photo exposure by Nadim Mahmud captured the moments to prove this statement. The breathtaking cinematography by Nabhan Zaman recorded one of the happiest days of her life with sheer perfection. Not only the Mehendi on her hands but also the joy in her eyes were evident through Nabhan Zaman’s cinematography.

Bollywood fever: Holud Night
Maysun and Raad’s Holud event was inspired by the ones in Bollywood movies. An extravagant decor, designer bridal and groom wear, choreographed dance performances and an entry with a horse and a quad bike were all perfectly arranged. You name it the couple crossed it off from their list. Rocking their wedding attire by wearing Balenciaga sneakers, the couple took their Holud style to a different level. The bridal and groom’s wear for the Holud was designed by Nishat Khan.

‘Till death do us part: The Wedding
If one needs to paint the couple’s marriage ceremony with words then it will be grandiose with a heavy helping of chic. Designing the venue herself with the help of Sygmaz Events, Maysun was able to pull off one of the most eye-brow raising weddings of the year. It took a total of nine months to design the entire venue at the Chef’s Table’s Courtside. The venue was themed after the palaces of Rajasthan. The venue catered to more than three thousand guests with a staggering number of two hundred plus different cuisines, by S&S Cuisines from around the globe. If that’s not enough, Shafqat Amanat Ali himself performed to make Maysun and Raad’s night even more magical. The bridal lehenga and the groom’s sherwani was designed by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla.

Happy ending: The Reception
The day of the reception was a memorable experience for her. Her reception was a fairytale that every girl dreams of. In a Manish Malhotra gown and a Jhodhpuri Jacket, the couple looked like they came out of a dream. Being detail-oriented, she made sure the day was one to remember for everyone who attended the reception. Hazoorilal Jewellers literally left no stone unturned to craft the best jewellery set to compliment her beautiful Manish Malhotra attire. The Pushpo Guccho hall of ICCB was immersed in the celebration of love where two hearts promised to spend eternity together.
