In the hustle and bustle of Dhaka city, our children get very little opportunity to express their creativity. On 6th December, our month of victory, in the greenery of Charukola Institute, Dhaka University, Fresh Tissue organized a children’s art competition titled “Fresh Tissue Potuar Utshob”. More than 1,000 people participated in the event including children, parents, artists, and judges.
The participants were divided into 3 groups based on their age. “Ko” group consisted of students from class 1-3, “Kho” group consisted of students from class 4-6 and the “Go” group consisted of students from class 7-10.
The topic for the “Ko” group was draw as you like. Little children drew their thoughts and fantasies into their canvas. The topic for “Kho” group was our liberation war. And the topic for the “Go” group was ”Jorahin, glanihin prithibi” where they drew a world without any pride and prejudice.
After the competition, 3 participants were awarded from each group. The winning images will be featured in new designs of Fresh facial tissue box.
Artist Jamal Ahmed, Nazir Khan, Asmita alam, Jahangir Hossain and others were the judges of this competition. Higher officials from Meghna Group of Industries were also present in this festival of colour.
