A Thousand Shades by Teresa is the first solo art exhibition of Farhana Islam got inaugurated on Friday

A Thousand Shades by Teresa is the first solo art exhibition of Farhana Islam Teresa, a contemporary artist. Teresa has been inundated by the shades of nature that reflect and resonate with our inner mind and surrounding life. The exhibition was opened on 29th November Friday at 6 PM by Chief guest Michael Foley, CEO of Grameenphone, Guest of Honor Ms. Nazia Andaleeb Preema, Visual Artist/Founder Bangladesh Creative Forum, Special Guest Yasir Azman, Deputy CEO & CMO of Grameenphone and renowned artist Monirul Islam at Dhaka Gallery, Banani. The exhibition is open for all till the 3rd of December from 3 pm to 8 pm. Catalytic Interactive was the Design Partner of the event.

Farhana Islam Teresa likes to spread the joy of life through her colorful paintings and fearless expressions. Art is in her family bloodlines as Farhana is the granddaughter of Potua Quamrul Hassan. Her grandmother Sakina Rahman was also chief of the Dolls Department at BISCIC. Farhana currently works in Grameenphone as Head of Innovation leading a team of creative modern-day innovators.

Nazia Andaleeb Preema, has curated the exhibition, she said “I wish her 1st solo exhibition a great success. And I hope she continues with her passion and ventures more and more into the illusional world of creativity. Art is a process and I am sure she will make us proud to be in her artistic journey to inspire us”. Michael Foley, CEO of Grameenphone stated that he is glad to celebrate this occasion that upholds the culture and pride of Bangladesh. Yasir Azman, Deputy CEO & CMO of Grameenphone mentioned that he is very proud of the multiple talents of Farhana that she works in Digital and also pursues such a great passion for Art.

Teresa has done experiments on multiple subjects and colors which are enchanting to viewers of Bangladesh and beyond. Farhana’s joyful presence and free spirit can be felt through her strokes and splashes of paint in her work.
