Shower Power

There is a short (in some cases, long) period of time between when one gets out of the shower and when they put on their clothes. We consider this ‘getting ready’ phase as a therapeutic moment of alone time, where one is fresh from a shower but not yet burdened with the obligations of social interaction. In this period, they may listen to some good music, dance away in a towel and play around with a variety of outfits and styles. This is evidently more stressful for some than others, but we wanted to highlight those forgotten moments of fun that are never highlighted in the glossy pages. Next time you have an event to attend, spend a little more time in that robe trying on various shades, shoes, and shawls while blasting your favorite tunes!
