Novastudio Production is a company which you have probably already heard about from this very magazine you’re reading right now. We started our cooperation a few months ago, but already had done plenty of amazing work together; therefore, we would like to introduce to you some more of our results.
During all of September, we worked hard on our local specialists who got an opportunity to become a part of the Nova team.
We created a master class for photographers and makeup artists on a competitive basis. All selective candidates got an access to our master classes with European professional makeup artist and a photographer who we brought to Bangladesh.
We are always very selective on with our specialists, that’s why before teaching their students, our European professionals had been working on their careers for more than 10 years all over the world; they have a significant amount of experience and contributed amazing work for leading magazines and brands like Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Moschino, etc.
Every day our students – three selected photographers and three makeup artists – were studying different aspects of the field like exploring different types of portfolio, photography history, history of makeup, creating mood boards, coloristiacation, art, and others; not only were they theoretical, but also a lot of practical studies in the process.
We appreciate all local specialists in Bangladesh, but we wanted to create a new level of professionals here. Therefore, we introduced the master class. In our opinion, it can be a great opportunity for developing a new era of the fashion industry in this amazing country.
Potential is always important, but potential also needs a passion. That’s what we were looking for in our students and everyone else in our team. By having this criterion, we can be sure that we will be able to contribute to the development of the Bangladeshi fashion industry, as we develop skills and enrich knowledge of our specialists.
In this issue of ICE Today, you can see the results of both sides of our project: our students and European specialists Artem Pomenchuk and Tima Leo. We were inspired by Bangladeshi historical places and decided that these places would be best for detecting uniqueness of this beautiful country but in a fashionable way.
Movements in the frame, naturalism and real emotions – these are the main elements we wanted to show in our shoots.
In the near future, our local specialists will be involved in our new upcoming worldwide advertising projects, and we will make our Bangladeshi specialists a kind of brand that appeals to the international markets. Because every single person in our company is a face of it, and it has to be as decent as our brand.
