More and more apps will try to innovate and look fordifferent ways for users to get the best of those apps more frequently. Today, Instagram released an update that encourages users to privately message their friends in a new feature called remixing.
It’s ridiculously simple. You are now allowed to edit your friend’s photo sent to you through direct message with stickers and custom texts and doodles. In turn, you send it back to your friend with a picture of your own. This means your friend can take your selfie and use it in their photo’s background, making you look as goofy or compromised as possible. If this sounds all too confusing, check out the image provided by Instagram.
With your naughty, adult minds, we can only imagine the comical things you’ll be able to create. You can be thankful for the fact that these are in private messages, but who is to know how mischievous your friends can be. And if you are a natural prankster, you can always blackmail your friends into doing things by holding their selfie hostage for a given period of time.
