“FDCB Presents TRESemmé Khadi ‘The Future Fabric Show 2017’ to be Held November 3rd and 4th

The Fashion Design Council of Bangladesh (FDCB) is going to organize the “FDCB Presents TRESemmé Khadi ‘The Future Fabric Show 2017’” – the biggest fashion event of the year in Bangladesh – on November 3rd and 4th at the International Convention City Bashundara (ICCB). The announcement was made today at a Press Conference held at the Capital’s Gulshan Club.
“FDCB Presents TRESemmé Khadi ‘The Future Fabric Show 2017’ aims to revive fashion based on the Khadi fabric, which is an important part of the heritage of Bangladesh. This year, 19 Bangladeshi fashion designers and 7 international designers are going to participate in the event.
The Bangladeshi designers participating are: Maheen Khan, Kuhu, Emdad Haq, Chandana Dewan, Shaibal Saha, Biplob Saha, Lipi Khandakar, Maria Islam, Farah Anjum Bari, Shahrukh Amin, Nawshin Khair, Tenzing Chakma, Afsana Ferdousi, Raka, Faiza Ahmed, Rima, Sarah Karim, Farah Diba, and Rupu Shams.
The seven international designers are: Rasna Srestha (Nepal), Jacqueline Fong (Malaysia), Nelun Harasgama (Sri Lanka), Chimmi Choden (Bhutan), Sukeejit Dangchai (Thailand), Himanshu Shani (India), and Soumitra Mondal (India).
It was also announced in the conference that a 2-day Khadi Exhibition is going to be held on November 10th and 11th at Gulshan Gardenia Convention Centre, where the clothes displayed at the show will be exhibited and sold.
Representatives of all the sponsors were present at the press conference.

The event is endowed by the Ministry of Cultural Affairs and supported by Bengal Group, IPAB, and Senora. Microsoft is the Technology Partner of the event.
