Robi & Uber partners to bring innovative digital service solutions

The country’s leading mobile network operator, Robi has formed a partnership with world’s largest on-demand ride-sharing company, Uber to bring innovative digital services to its customers.

Robi’s Chief Corporate and People Officer, Matiul Islam Nowshad and Uber’s Chief Business Officer, India and Emerging Markets, Madhu Kannan exchanged the partnership documents at a ceremony held at Robi Corporate Office today.

Robi and Airtel subscribers will be enjoying special exclusive discounts from Uber due to this partnership.  The partnership has also paved the way for Uber and Robi to work together to offer co-branded products and work out a digital service roadmap that facilitates the addition of new benefits for the customers and partners, going forward.

This partnership also allows the prospective driver-partners to complete their registration with Uber in the Robi Walk-In-Centres (WICs) with utmost convenience. The Uber driver partners will also enjoy specialized SIM cards and data packs from Robi, thanks to this partnership.

Robi’s Executive Vice President, Chamara Thilak Manamperi, Vice President, Corporate Strategy, Ahmed Armaan Siddiqui were present on the occasion.
