Wasfia’s Documentary Series Shot on an iPhone Will Give You Goosebumps

To capture Wasfia Nazreen at the edge of glory, Apple made a 13-minute short film about her journey of scaling the Seven Summits, shot entirely on an iPhone 6s. Among many talented documentary shorts from filmmakers around the world, Wasfia’s heartwarming tale of bravery made it to the curated collection of National Geographic’s Short Film Showcase. The premise shows Wasfia in the bustling streets of Nepal. Suddenly, the scene shifts to the sight of her standing at the top of a mountain lulled by the sound of wind under the blue skies. This shot will definitely send chills down your spine.

There is an eerie silence when she mentions the campaign; that explained how much faith (or the lack of it) people had in her abilities. But her spirits were raised in the company of, Ngima, her instructor.
