Looking Back At The Mesmerising Performances Of The Bengal Sangskriti Utsab

To celebrate the vast cultures prevalent in Bangladesh, Bengal Foundation organised the Bengal Sangskriti Utsab in Sylhet starting from February 22 to March 3. Cultural performances in music, dance and drama were showcased in this exhibition. The first of its kind, Bengal Sangskriti Utsab witnessed the participation of 425 musicians, artists, writers and craftsmen from home and abroad. This event was dedicated to the memory of national Professor Gyantapas Abdur Razzaq. Moreover, the grand occasion focused on the cultural diversity that is present in the form of arts and crafts. Bengal Foundation has been making a mark in the cultural arena with its Classical Music Festival for the last five years. For the first time it organised an event of this magnitude this year, and that too outside Dhaka. Chairman of Bengal Foundation, Abul Khair, Cultural Minister, Asaduzzaman Noor, Managing Director and CEO of Dhaka Bank Limited, Syed Mahbubur Rahman, Finance Minister AM Abdul Muhith, Founder and Chairman of BRAC, Sir Fazle Hasan Abed were present at the inaugural ceremony of the event.
