Operating under the guidance of Chef de Cuisine, Reshad Mahmood, Café De Partex is a joint which celebrates the mashup of flavours. Reshad, who has aced the fusion cuisine in the industry for the last 15 years, took an oath to serve food that reflects sheer honesty. The star of the kitchen along with the friendly faces around reads the patron’s mind to deliver just what they need. Steaming fresh from his kitchen we lay out some of his best dishes.
Romance with Romano (Tk 300)
The “coffee shrub of Arabia” found its way to the Café after some variations by the chef. Romano hits your adrenaline with the freshness of lemon zest giving you a delicate flavour to sip on. Few drops of lemon juice and sprinkles of zest make it a very refreshing drink. Unlike lemon tea, Romano introduces to you a whole new genre of coffee.
Gambas-Al-Ajillo (Tk 600)
Fetched from the Spanish core, Tapas are without a doubt one of the best treats. The tangy garlic, herbed and garnished with green tempts you with its heart-filling aroma. Prepared with olive oil and sided with oven-fresh garlic bread makes for a delicious pair. Add a hot creamy cappuccino priced Tk 250, and make this duo a delight for the foodies.
Classic Chicken Burger (Tk 400)
The heart of this burger is that the classic chicken patty is at its best. The chef fetches all the ingredients from his kitchen to pile up a classic dish with a perfect balance. A popular choice among customers, the burger has certainly enticed the foodies with its tantalising taste. Finish it off with a sip of their rich chocolate milk shake which comes at a price of Tk 250.
Chef’s Special (Tk300-350)
Lemon rice with Stroganoff Chicken and the Prawn Grill in the german salad is one of tricks from the chef’s bag to fall for. The smooth texture of the Russian curry and the light fragrance of the lemon rice don’t feel heavy to the stomach at all. The grilled prawn cuddled with the fresh German salad adds another angle of taste to this blend. This fusion of Russian and the German cuisine brings another best of blends on your plate as you take a seat in the café.
