Jannatul Peya is creating quite the buzz. The sensational Bangladeshi model-actress is set to appear on the acclaimed Australian TV show 60 Minutes. The TV show, an Australian version of the U.S. television newsmagazine program is known for interviewing famous celebrity personalities.
Regarding her appearance on 60 Minutes, Peya had this to say, “I told them about my career as a model on the international platform. Me being on the cover of India’s Vogue was another focus of the interview.”
The famed model-actress stepped into the limelight after asserting her presence in the international modelling arena. She has become a force to reckon with after landing the cover photo for Vogue India – a new stride for a Bangladeshi celebrity.
October 2016’s issue featured models from six other SAARC nations, namely Pooja Mor from India, Sri Lankan Shenelle Rodrigo, VarshaThapa from Nepal and Deki Wangmo from Bhutan. In attendance was also Raudha Athif, who met her untimely demise on a visit to Bangladesh as a student. Janatul Peya commemorated Raudha Atif during the interview.
