25 years ago, Dhaka’s Bangladesh Stadium held an international wrestling competition. This competition was witnessed by the nation’s Tiger Jalil, Pakistan’s Naser Bhulu and Anwar Hossain as well as the likes of India’s B.K Sharma. Once again, Bangladesh is set to witness yet another wrestling competition organized by the Amateur Wrestling Ferdation and word’s in the air that international wrestling giants like John Cena, Triple H (Hunter Hurst Helmsley) and Bill Goldberg are to visit Bangladesh for the occasion.
Yesterday, the General Secretary of the Federation, Tabiur Rahman Palowan stated, “We have been trying for ages to organize an international level tournament. However we couldn’t do it due to various reasons. This time we’re hoping that to conduct a tournament sometime around November or December.”
The stars that are to visit our country will be present at an international wrestling event in India during that timeline. Hence Tabiur wants to make most of that opportunity. They are currently contacting superstars John Cena and Triple H and from the looks of it, they have given him assurance about paying a visit.
