We were curious to know what the International Fame Awards was the show represented?
International Fame Awards was held on 16 September 2019 in Thailand. The award show nominated artists from all around Asia in order to recognize and appreciate their efforts in the makeup and fashion industry. With the grace of almighty, I was awarded the Best International Makeup Artist in Asia Award.
Did your perspective change on your line of work after working with so many celebrities?
I treat each and every client of mine like a celebrity. I always tend to follow my clients’ preferences. That is why even when I’m working with celebrities, my process remains the same. The key to success is not only about following the upcoming trends. It also depends on creating your own trend and keeping your line of work interesting through innovation.
What was the journey like which led you to receive the award?
I started my business back in 2009. I began my career as a wife and as a mother of two while still completing my studies. Initially, everything seemed very difficult since I had responsibilities as a wife and as a mother. With time, I learned how to maintain the balance in my personal and work life. When I started receiving promising responses form my clients, my work became my passion. Every bride has a dream to look the best on her big day. When my clients love my work, that is the most significant achievement for me. My dedication to my work and the immense support from my family members helped me to achieve whatever appreciation I am getting today.
What projects are you currently working on?
I’m currently working on expanding my business and creating better opportunities for the people working for me. We are focusing on providing advanced training for our employees. Being a makeup artist is not just limited to working in an establishment; it is also about incorporating your innovation and creativity.
