Hats off to Tarana Halim for Recruiting Female Drivers Across The Country

Fuelling the future of mobility, Tarana Halim, State Minister of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Division has sanctioned female drivers to join the Bangladesh Post Office as part of their Mail Transportation Strengthening Project. In a program on Sunday, she handed over the keys to the newly appointed 19 female drivers who will now have heavy vehicle driving licenses. A great stepping stone for women, we will now see female drivers behind wheels all over the country. Breaking out of their stereotypical roles, this initiative will enhance their opportunities and will add value to their skill set as well.
